Lochbroom Lodge . . .
. . . is family owned and offering modern and comfortable accommodation on a working croft overlooking Ullapool and beautiful Lochbroom in Wester Ross on the stunning north-west coast of Scotland (on the North Coast 500 route). In addition to a small herd of sheep and our Shetland pony, Casper, we often see a herd of wild deer that roam the hill-side directly behind the Bothies, and buzzards flying over-head.
Our Local Community
As a local family, we really appreciate the natural environment we have been fortunate enough to have grown up in, and we hope that our daughter and generations after her will continue to care for it. The signs are good – Ullapool Primary School children have been the first to persuade all the businesses in an entire village to stop using plastic straws – a small thing with a big impact on our marine environment. The children are also supportive of fair trade, and we endorse that too, using Fairtrade certified goods and environmentally sensitive products in our bothies. Our waste water and sewage are processed through a water treatment plant, which we ask you to help us to maintain by proper use.
Our aim is to help you to enjoy and appreciate our surroundings. We are available to contact throughout your stay and are happy to provide information or advice to ensure that you make the most of your time here.
